Spiritual Mind Treatment

At OPCRS, we practice a form of affirmative prayer called "Spiritual Mind Treatment." Spiritual Mind Treatment is a practical tool that aligns our thoughts with all-good. Treatment is a powerful process that shifts our consciousness so that we are open and available to accept the good that is already present.

Shining Your Light

There is One Power, One Presence, One Light. This all-providing Source moves in, through, and as me. It is everywhere evenly Present. It is the source of everything that has ever been, everything that is now, and everything that ever will be. This life-affirming Power is ever present and ever available to anyone and at any time.

I am what this Divine Presence is. There is no point where It ends and I begin; there is no separation. I know that It moves through me at the level of my Faith, and I joyously open my heart and my life to be guided and inspired by Its Light.

I know that as I allow Spirit's Light to shine within and through me, this opportunity is also available to everyone. I am one with all people and what is Good for one of us is Good for us all.

The Law takes what is deeply felt within my heart and soul and manifests those ideas and beliefs in my life. What I experience in my life is a reflection of what is deeply embedded in my consciousness. If I want to change those experiences, I know I can change the patterns of my thinking, see myself differently -- and my life will change accordingly.

Spirit is the Source of all the Light in the universe. As I choose to see myself as a light, I attract that very same thing to me. I see the light in every experience, no matter what it may seem like before I open my heart. My light allows me to see joy rather than sorrow, peace rather than conflict, hope rather than despair. When I look into the face of my beloved or into the face of a stranger, I see their light and I allow myself to see nothing else. I shine my own light brightly, encouraging others to also shine their light. I have the opportunity to leave every place and every person more uplifted, more full of light than when I encountered them.

I let go of anything that does not allow me to see Light in every direction. I am grateful. The Light of God is ever available to me. As I consistently shine my light, I am attracted to the light in others and they are, in turn, attracted to my light. We shine, we glow, we radiate -- we light up the world.

I know that Spirit is moving through me, guiding me, directing me, allowing me to manifest my good. I surrender and I allow myself to be used by the magnificence of Spirit in service to humanity. I call this Good. I call this God.

And So It Is.

"My Prayer for My Country"

Believing in the Divine Destiny of the United States of America and in the preservation of liberty, security, and self-expression for all, I offer this, my prayer for my country:

I know that Divine Intelligence governs the destiny of the United States of America, directing the thought and the activity of all who guide its affairs.

I know that success, prosperity, and happiness are the gifts of freedom and the Divine heritage of everyone in this country; that they are now operating in the affairs of every individual in this country.

I know that Divine Guidance enlightens the collective mind of the people of this country, causing it to know that economic security may come to all without the loss of either personal freedom or individual self-expression. I know that no one can believe or be led to believe that personal freedom must be surrendered in order to insure economic security for all.

The All-knowing Mind contains the answer to every problem which confronts this country. I know that every leader in this country is now directed by this All-knowing Mind and has the knowledge of a complete solution to every problem. Each is impelled to act upon this knowledge to the end that abundance, security, and peace shall come to all.

And I know that this Spiritual Democracy shall endure, guaranteeing to everyone in this country personal liberty, happiness, and self-expression.
